My name is Ian Pahute. I am the Second Life (SL) avatar of Ian Upton. This Flickr is my photo diary. I hope to record the stuff that happens to me as I explore. But first, I had better tell you about him, the man behind me, 'the avatar'...
He is an artist. He will tell you 'he has always been facinated by the question 'what defines me?' and that he has recently been exploring those blurry boundaries between real and virtual space. And so to this diary. Its a simple idea. You mix me and him and stir in the ideas above and we get this. Ian Pahutes and Ian Uptons existence. A visual, virtual, reality blur somewhere between here and there....
